1. Registering a Domain Name

To Register the domain name, we open up the browser an go to Dot.tk website and check whether the domain name is available or not. In my case, the domain name is available

Complete the Registration Process and complete your order. You will get your domain control as below:

Once you have registered the domain name, log in to your blogger account and click on Setting:

Now click on +set up third party URL for your Blog

Enter your registered domain name starting with www, here I have put www.al-otain.tk and Click on Save button

After Clicking on save button you will get error message "We have not been able to verify your authority to this domain. Error12". Don't worry about the error message you are very close to the answer on How to Setup Custom Domain Name in Blogger Blog. Now, you have to add two CNAMEs in your domain as directed in below image.

Let get on to domain control Panel and Click on Manage Domain you will get page similar to Below image Click on Manage Freenom DNS, it might be different if you are using other domain name.

Add two CNAMEs

Name field- www
Type - CNAME
TTL - Leave as it is
Target - ghs.google.com
and save it

Do the same process with changing Name and Target as directed in Blogger while adding the domain name.

After successfully saving your DNS Record will look like as follows

After completing the above process, let get back to Blogger DashBoard and Click on Save Button

If you have done all the steps correctly, on clicking on Save button, you will get as below image.

Great! You have successfully setup custom domain for your blogger blog. If you are setup on paid domain name, the Domain Control Panel may look different, but the process is same.



Domain Control Panel > Manage DNS > Create DNS > Add CNAME

Create two CNAMEs, with the value given in the Blogger Dashboard, generated while adding the domain name.
